Brigitte felt, and her family agrees, that your friendship and support, and the laughs you shared with her over the years are the true measure of your love for her. Making significant sacrifices and large alterations to your daily lives simply to attend this event would not be what Brigitte would want. If you are able to join us, we will welcome you as family.

Dear friends and family of Brigitte,
This is Tracy Agee, friend of Brigitte's and her family, once again.
I have two things to share with you. Please share this message with others as well in case I've inadvertently missed anyone.
Firstly, we will be creating a Memory Box for Brigitte's family. If you would like to write something sharing special experiences you had with Brigitte, funny anecdotes (surely there are an abundance of these!), memorable things she said or did, photographs or other small mementos, please bring that with you to the Memorial.
Secondly, the family requests no flowers be sent. If you would like to make a donation in Brigitte's honor, the following two organizations are suggested:
International Rescue Committee Education Gifts
https://gifts.rescue.org/shop/education-rescue-gifts
Brigitte was a fierce proponent of educating girls, and herself a mentor to girls in West Baltimore. Should you wish to offer a gift of education for girls, please consider the International Rescue Committee's Education Gift Page. Once there, you can see multiple gift options.
HopeWell Cancer Support
http://www.hopewellcancersupport.org/How-to-Give
Brigitte and her family found much solace and information in their journey with cancer from the people and programs at HopeWell. Gifts to HopeWell allow them to continue offering their services to all in the greater Baltimore region regardless of ability to pay.
Peace to all ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
