TACAMO Fallen Veteran's Wife & TCVA Volunteer - Marie Goss

September 18, 1942 – August 6, 2020

Marie Goss, wife of Wally Goss, TACAMO Hall of Fame Inductee & a VQ-4 Plankowner, began volunteering at the 2009 TACAMO Reunion in Pax River. "She came to every reunion willing to assist, from set-up to breakdown. TCVA held a mini-Reunion last year in Pensacola, she managed to get around with Wally’s assistance and help me with preset-up for the mini-Reunion,” says Cheryl Vos.  “Marie is a big loss to the association. Thanks for the memories, Marie"


Marie Elena Goss, age 77, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020. Marie was born September 18, 1942 in Irvington, New Jersey to Anthony Arnold Villani and Marie Josephine Califano.She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary Fleet Service and The Pensacola Historical Preservation Society and local Ladies Sorority. Marie is preceded in death by her father, Anthony Arnold Villani; mother, Marie Josephine Califano; brother, Anthony Villani; and sister, Kathryn Hillhouse. She is survived by her husband, Wallace F. Goss; sons, Mark (Kim) Burbach, Wallace F. Goss II, Patrick Goss, Wayne Goss; daughters, Dawn (Paul) Ritz, Tammie Miskimens; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and extended family members.

Funeral service will be at 12:00 pm on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and guests one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.
